NIERSTEINER GUTES DOMTAL KABINETT:

The village of Nierstein is located along the left bank of the Rhein in an area called the Rheinfront or Rhein Terrasse (engl.: Rhine Terrace).  The vineyards along this terrace have an optimal south/southeast exposure and are, in part, planted on extremely steep terrain (Steillagen).
 
Our Niersteiner Kabinett is produced from the Grosslage: Gutes Domtal from a blend of wines typically consisting of Sylvaner, Scheurebe, Müller-Thurgau and Riesling and is light-bodied with hints of ripe melon and pear and a delightful floral nose.  Perfect as an aperitif or try with a wide variety of foods - from fresh fruit salads to spicy Hunan chicken.  Also try with blackened swordfish or Cajun shrimp.

Our Niersteiner Spätlese is produced from the Grosslage: Gutes Domtal from a blend of wines typically consisting of Sylvaner, Scheurebe, Müller-Thurgau and Riesling and is wonderfully rich and fruity. Hints of pear and sweet, ripe cantaloupe make this wine perfect as an aperitif. Also try with blackened swordfish or cajun shrimp.
