It normally doesn't matter what kind of water you drink:

A distinction is made between.

- sparkling water

- Medium Water or still water

- non-carbonated mineral water.

The difference lies in the carbon dioxide content:

- classic or sparkling mineral water with a lot of carbonic acid.

- medium and still water with reduced carbonic acid.

 non-carbonated mineral waters.

- Medicinal water is a natural mineral water which claims to have a healing, soothing or preventive effect and is therefore legally

  regulated as a medicine instead of a foodstuff.

  One litre of water must contain at least one gram of dissolved minerals or trace elements.
